CAM SESSINGER

Cam Sessinger is a Senior Journalism major at Ithaca College minoring in Women and Gender Studies. Cam has formerly interned with GenZ Publishing as an acquisition and editorial Intern. During her time with GenZ, Cam received associate editor credit in the upcoming novels Then and There Here and Where, and The Christmas Mistakeas well as formatting credit. Cam has formerly reported for Ithaca College's award-winning student newspaper, The Ithacan. 

Cam is passionate about music and hopes to create a career that allows for her to combine her passions of music and writing.  Cam’s dream job within the industry is to work as a staff writer for Rolling Stone.  Industry professionals that inspire Cam are Joan Didion, Matt Taibi, and her grandfather and former journalist, Lou Sessinger.

Cam was a Dean's List Recipient in December and May of 2019. Cam was inducted a member of the National Honor Society in Women and Gender Studies in April of 2020.
